About Tide

Our members have a fully-functioning account in 5 minutes. It gives them an integrated set of all the financial services they need to run their business in a mobile and desktop environment. 

Tide launched in January 2017 and in July, announced $14m funding from leading venture capital firms (Anthemis, Creandum, LocalGlobe and Passion) and industry insiders. We have grown extremely fast since launch and have ambitions to sign 50m businesses up, over the coming years, across the world. More significantly, we have the privilege of progressing a mission which is genuinely important for the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day customer support to Tide Members, resolving queries and issues.
  • Responding to customers in a timely, empathetic and transparent way.
  • Liaising with the Tide team to ensure that developers and designers are aware of any challenges people face when using the Tide app.
  • Gathering feedback from customers about their experience of using Tide and how the product can be made better.
  • Occasional bits of office admin.


Requirements:

  • The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate who has perfect written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service skills – loves helping people and is naturally solution-oriented
  • Can remain calm under pressure – patient, empathetic and has a positive mindset
  • Great communicator – can explain complex information in a simple and easy to understand way
  • Strong attention to detail – can identify and analyse trends in customer feedback
  • Ability to multi-task effectively

Ideally:

  • Previous customer service or start-up experience, particularly in financial services 
  • Tech-savvy
