Chief Finance and Strategy Officer

Chief Finance and Strategy Officer

Description

Tide is a rocket ship, and we’ve already hit the level of scale where it’s appropriate to bring in an experienced C-level tech executive to lead our corporate strategy, reporting, and financial management.

You will manage our data analysts to ensure that all KPIs across our business (financial and non-financial) are monitored rigorously, and will use that information to influence the C-suite about all aspects of company strategy. You will lead the creation and management of complex cash management processes with appropriate controls and accounting. You will lead investigation of medium and long term strategic options including international expansion and M&A. Reporting to the CEO, your job will be part storyteller, part consigliere, and part champion of analytics-driven performance.

You’ll be a strategic thinker, able to confidently deliver financial insight and analysis to other executives and investors.

About Tide

Tide is about doing what you love. We believe the world would be a better place if more people gave it a shot. We’re building a business current account that gives time back to those who work for themselves, so they can get back to doing what they love.

Our members have a fully-functioning account in 5 minutes. It gives them an integrated set of all the financial services they need to run their business in a mobile and desktop environment.

Tide launched in January 2017 and in July, announced $14m funding from leading venture capital firms (Anthemis, Creandum, LocalGlobe and Passion) and industry insiders. We have grown extremely fast since launch and have ambitions to sign 50m businesses up, over the coming years, across the world. More significantly, we have the privilege of progressing a mission which is genuinely important for the world.
